Where can you play Fatekeeper?

Right now, PC via Steam is the only way to play Fatekeeper. It launched into Early Access on June 2, 2026, and the official site shows only the Windows platform logo. The table below tracks every platform and its current status — this page exists to answer the single most-asked question about the game.

Is Fatekeeper coming to PS5 and Xbox?

Yes, eventually. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S ports are planned and described by the developer as “in the works,” but they’re slated for after Early Access concludes — and no firm console release dates have been locked in. Since EA is expected to run roughly 18 months, console players are looking at a wait. Treat any specific console date you see elsewhere as unconfirmed.

Is there a Switch version?

There is no Nintendo Switch announcement of any kind. Given the recommended PC specs (an RTX 3070-class GPU), a Switch release is not something the developer has indicated. We’ll update this page if that changes.

Is Fatekeeper open world?

No. It’s a semi-linear, handcrafted experience. A developer described it on Discord as “a semi-linear experience — the campaign itself is fairly linear while the maps will give some space to the player,” rather than an open game. The world rewards exploration with hidden lore and relics, but you are not dropped into a giant open map.

Is there co-op or multiplayer?

No. Fatekeeper is single-player only. The Steam feature list shows Single-player, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing — there is no co-op and no multiplayer mode listed or announced.
